The Matatu League leaderboard

Every staked win moves you up the table. Here’s how ranking points, form, seasons and rewards work in the Matatu League.

Ranking points

Staked wins earn ranking points on top of the cash — bigger competitive formats award more. Points decide your position on the league table, shown live in the online lobby along with every player you might challenge.

Your form

Next to your name sits your recent form — your last five results as green W and red L chips, updating the moment a game ends. Opponents see it too: a W-W-W-W-W streak gets you respect, and sometimes gets you avoided.

Seasons — twice a week, every week

The league runs half-week seasons: a mid-week season and a weekend season, each with its own table. When a season closes, the top seats are paid coin rewards automatically and the race restarts — so a slow start never buries you for long. Daily login bonuses stack on top.

Savings — winnings that outlast the season

Season rewards can feed your savings balance — a long-term pot that never resets with the table. Savings build quietly in the background (you can also auto-charge a small amount per game) and unlock at scheduled redemption events during the year.

Climbing fast: consistent small-stake wins beat occasional big-stake gambles for pure points. The strategy guide covers how to protect a lead — and when a tournament run is worth the risk.

Where to see it

The leaderboard lives in the online lobby of the Matatu Champion app — left panel for standings and form, centre for stakes and opponents. Tap any player to challenge them on the spot.
